In his book, Master of Disguises, James Benjamin seeks to show Christian readers the many tricks that the enemy (the devil) plays to try and make us lose focus of the purpose God has given us. Many Christians, unfortunately, fall prey to the devil's devices and are not able to live a free life in Christ Jesus as they should. In this book, Benjamin describes the tricks of the devil and helps readers to understand that Satan is real in the world today and that in order to defeat him, we must be able to recognize when he tries to come upon us.
Benjamin writes in the book: While going through a difficult time in my life, I experienced God like never before. All that I have been through in my life God told me to write it down because my life is a testimony to the next person. We, as people of God, need to be able to detect the many different disguises of the enemy. In this book, I am going to expose the enemy. I'm going to bring to light the many different disguises and faces that the enemy has set for the people of God to lose their focus. Satan is present and evident in the world today. Unless we recognize his disguises we will be unable to defeat him. I pray that this word convicts the hearts of the readers.
